This blog is another. There are fascinating geniuses who don't blog. There are boring fools who do blog. What matter is that this blog has been consistently wonderful. I am not naive about what effort it takes to be popular on the web. My web domain is 13 years old, and gets over 15,000,000 hits per year. Lieven le Bruyn's blog is unlikely ever to get that kind of traffic, yet is a must-read for me, and I already am sad that it will be gone.</p> Grothendieck is one matter (I’d love to see a feature film about him!).
