3 main reasons :

i'll probably be teaching a TQFT-course next year

most blogs on my aggregator are pretty categorical

maths future is, alas, more cats

in case anyone else is considering a maths/cats conversion, here's the 3 step procedure that worked for me :

read Jonathan Kock's book on Frobenius algs and 2d TQFTs

watch Ben-Zvi's lectures at the Langlands-duality thing at KITP

read Lurie's paper until you had your fill

still a way to go...

Of course, you'd be very welcome to write guest posts about your experiences in re-educating as an n-categorist, anonymously or otherwise. Can you give us an indication as to why n-categories?
